The team was in a lose, lose, or lose situation as it relates to fan/media response today.

Situation 1 - Dallas wins big. "Of course we should win this game, we only beat bad teams. We still stink."

Ding Ding Ding. We gotta winner -> Situation 2 - Dallas squeezes one out. "We play down to competition" and choose to ignore blowing out Rams and comfortable wins over Eagles and Commanders.

Situation 3 - Dallas loses. "We are terrible, no way we win division or are competitive in playoffs."

I too am not happy about the game. This should not have been a close game but a different outcome would not have changed my opinion of the team. Going forward, the Saints and Packers (and a CHI*with Cutler) games will reveal whether this team can be competitive in the playoffs. I have got to see them win against good teams to believe they can get over the hump and beat a SF or SEA in the first round. Great to still pull out a win today with the overall poor performance and play calling but the team was not going to receive praise for any outcome vs a now 1-7 team.

5-4, onto the Saints.

Or you could try not being such a negative Nancy, enjoy our win and stop complaining

Always nice to get the W but this team especially our offensive coaches suck so bad. another head scratching game plan.

We beat a poor team nothing more and we barely accomplished that.

Negative Nancy out...

Where did I say I did not enjoy the win? If you would read the post you would realize my perspective was positive in that we got a win in a pretty meaningless game yet you should not be surprised by the general negative response from media and fans because it could be spun through any given agenda. Next week is a big game, let's see if we can compete in the long run.
