I’m as happy as any fan after yesterday’s performance.

As fans we have been waiting for this game all year.

However, I cannot help but feel dismayed and wonder if some of the “fans” posting on this site have taken leave of their senses.

There are threads stating the Cowboys will win SB54, celebrating players as if one game defines their play all season and most disturbingly calling Garrett a great coach, how he out coached the Rams, even apologizing for calling for his head...

Have we not seen similar games in seasons past which were going to change the season and guarantee a trip to the SB?

i can think of more than a few instances.

Worse yet apologizing to JG or calling him a great coach. Why? On account of this team playing up to their potential during one game this season.

How many games did this same coach and his coaching staff either through bone headed decisions or lack of preparation cost this team in potential wins this season?

We are all on this site to express our sentiments about the team we love with our fellow fans, but seriously do some of you listen to yourselves, let alone read what you write on this threads and posts.

Jason Garrett is NOT going to win a SB with any team regardless of their roster!

Jerry Jones will never hoist another Lombardi trophy until he steps down and allows someone else to run the show.

These players will never play up to their potential on a weekly basis until they learn to play as a team and not as individuals...

Despite all the accusations about the Patriots and their questionable practices or tactics.
When’s the last time you saw a Pats player showboat or calling themselves the “Hot-Boyz” or the “swipe”
Why? Because you as a player did what you are expected to?

I stayed away for far too long because of this and I know this does not represent all the fans in these forums as I enjoy reading and commenting on some of your threads.

The real Cowboys will step up soon. This defense and coaching is just too bad to anything in the playoffs. and that's if we beat philly this week. I am preparing myself for plenty of that stoooooopid, "FLY EAGLES FLY E-A-G-L-E-S!!!" At least philly can spell eagles...bunch of idiots over there.

One win over a winning team does not erase the more consistent mediocrity of this year, much less the last decade. The fact that Garrett is still this team’s HC is crazy enough. This team had been 3-7 in its last 10 games and suggesting after yesterday’s impressive win that this team is back on track to do something special in the playoffs is a Jerry Jones/homer pipe dream.

I choose to believe our top ranking on overall O and top 10 ranking on overall D is real and based on more than one game. Continue to doubt them if you want but I believe in this team.

Anyway, as I was saying.... Garrett beats the Egals, I will be ecstatic. That will be the slam dunk to shove it in their faces yet once again.

After all, Wentz has only beaten the Boys ONCE. How dare we give him the division and a chance to play in his first postseason game.
