Losing to Tom Brady

We’ve been having to score 30+ points to win a lot of games since Dak returned because our defense has been giving up a lot of points. Our defense is a shell of what it was. We’ve given up 34 or more points in two of our last three games. We had a bend but don’t break defense earlier in the season and now it’s broke. Go count up all the TD passes we’ve given up lately. Tom Brady will have a field day on our defense. He’ll pass for 300+ and multiple TDs. We’ve had no pass rush that can get home the past several weeks and no one gets rid of the ball quicker than Brady. If we face him it’s going to be another one and done!
You realize he just beat up Carolina right? And he’s 2 missed field goals away from being out of the playoffs. Stop making it seem like he’s prime Brady. He ain’t

That's why they call it a game...football is just a sport, nothing vain about it.
The Packer and Jaguar choke jobs are defining this season unfortunately.

Turned this from a No. 1 seed, a bye, and home field throughout into 3 road games to get there.

I live in reality. You see what you want to see. That is the difference.
Reality is....we are 12-4 with a chance at the 1 seed.

Reality is the Bucs are not the same team.

Reality is if we can't beat the buck in Tampa then we wouldn't likely beat anyone.

Because they CANNOT improve their seeding let alone have a shot at the #1 seed. If we rested and somehow a nyg team beat philly. Now THAT would be a disaster now wouldn't it? Let me guess.... you thought philly would beat NO today? Never mind. I saw your chicken little thread. Football is played on the field.
The Giants will play nobody. Mara will insist on it to screw Jerry. Lol

Well, they better get ready to hit the road is all I can say...it's been done before.

Imagine starting and ending this season with losses to Tom Brady in our stadium and his.

And falling to 0-8 lifetime against him.

This team better start preparing today.

Because he is.

And Tampa is resting starters next week.
Before we jump off the bridge. Sam Darnold posted a QB rating of 108 against the Tampa Bay defense. Tom Brady can't play defense. I'm willing to see how it plays out before I accept defeat. I'm more scared of the 49ers than any other team.

I can agree with all of that.

Dallas should win comfortably on paper in a relatively high-scoring game. As long as they don't commit turnovers.

But recency bias says otherwise.

Who cares Carolina had won two of their last three, including a win over Seattle who’s still in playoff contention. The league has been very competitive this season. The Cowboys struggled against the Texans and blew a 17 point lead to Jacksonville. Tom Brady may not be in his prime, but he still has it. Our pass defense has been looking like swiss cheese of late, giving up over 650 passing yards and 5 TD passes. Joshua Dobbs, who Tennessee had just picked up eight days earlier looked good against us and he was playing behind a backup OL. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Brady put up 400+ on us in the playoffs. Gardner Minshew put up 355. I already know from other discussions that you don’t see things very clearly. If we end up facing Tampa in the playoffs, we’re done!

On paper.. we should be rejoicing at the TB match up as a chance for our first play off win in a while.. but history shows that we have reason to be worried. Brady has owned this team for a long time.. and even this year they beat us (with a 'healthy' Dak).. so it has me nervous.

Also watching Green Bay smash the vikes.. looks like Rodgers is going to get in too.

If we want to be a good team we have to beat the best.. there are no weak teams in the play offs.. but sheesh it just seems like we have the same demons to slay every season.. and for the last 20 years that has made for some pretty bad memories.

You don't beat bad teams to get to and win a SB.

It shouldn't matter who or where we play. Play our game. Limit mistakes. Win and then move on to the next opponent.

Coaching is always key in the postseason. No unnecessary gambles on 4th down please. No cute play calling on 3rd and 3 or less. On D, keep the receivers in front. Make the Quarterback go to the 3rd or 4th option.

Rodgers has to beat the Lions first. They are good.

But it's in Green Bay, so weather will be a factor.

Yes, if we don't turn it over then we should win. I feel if we give Tom any momentum then it may creep in our heads and bad things can happen. So this is when Big Mike has to show he's a real coach and coach them up emotionally to exorcise demons from the past.
