Because Bland is a significantly better outside CB than he is a slot CB. Playing boundry is where he became a star. Play him in the slot again and he becomes very ordinary

I don’t know if I’d say he’s a star. I think he flourishes inside or out. I’d prefer him to be outside but if Diggs is healthy and Bland allows me to have my 3 best corners on the field I’d prefer that as opposed to just going with anyone at nickel. Because while you say he’s ordinary at nickel…..ordinary seems better then bad at this point.

That’s where we currently are.

The draft was fine, not the point. They just aren’t going to be hugely impactful right away nor should a draft class ever be expected to save a team. At least they are using the correct words like “building.”

Why aren’t drafted players included?

Players leave through free agency or retirement.

They are replaced through free agency and the draft.

I’m confused

Some of the lost players Should and Could have been replaced by free agents of equal or better value as a KNOWN proven commodity.

The draft is always important but it's not a real comparison to acquiring veteran free agents

After this season we can then say that said drafted player replaced a lost player. Hopefully we can say that Jaydon Blue replaced Dowdle if he matched his output but I can't say that Javonte Williams replaced Rico because his output was far below Ricos last season
