Lost in this EPIC FAIL, were some great plays and individual efforts yesterday. I was looking forward to seeing some awesome Cowboys highlights that included a highlight film catch from Dez in the end zone, Witten's catches in the middle of the field, Murray's great run after great run, a diving catch for an interception from Moore, and a very good if not great day for Bailey. None of these plays should ever end up in anyone's highlight film. These plays should all be buried with the memories of this game. In all my years, this is a top 3 loss, and it hurts more because it could have been a great win...

I second this. Dez's touchdown was phenomenal and I had forgotten about that great catch by Witten. And don't get me started on what could've been with Murray. I am angry at every aspect of this organization right now. No one gets a pass.

I don't understand why people get so angry and hurt by all this honestly. I mean i love the team as much as the next guy, but I just dont see how these things arent expected by now.

What I expect is for Garrett and Romo to learn from their mistakes. Is that too much to ask? I mean, everybody knows that with a big lead you RUN THE CLOCK OUT! Yes, I am angry about it.

Why you expect that when they haven't learned from them over the last 6 years? At some point getting angry at a team who shows you who they are every year is silly.

And 5 FGs, two from 50 yards, from Bailey. That man is MONEY.

At some point continuing to be a fan of this nonsense is silly too. I guess I'll keep being silly and keep expecting them to learn from their mistakes and actually, you know, improve. I will always hold my Cowboys to a high standard. I don't mean win the Super Bowl with injuries and scrubs. I mean give your best effort and make good decisions for four quarters. Garrett and Romo should've learned something by now. If that means being angry, I'll just be pissed.

OP,

After the first half my faith in our defense was restored. It wasn't so much because of personnel, it was mainly our schemes and plays that we were calling; like the Scandrick blitz. They saw it coming and couldn't stop it.

Then comes the second half and we couldn't get off the field. We should have did our defense some justice and ran the ball more.

I stopped yelling at the TV at the end of the 3rd qtr when there was just over a minute and we didn't run at all; going 3 and out with 24 seconds left.

Moving forward, I want to see some more aggressiveness on defense and have a Tuesday practice. Use it to give the back ups more reps with the first team so they have a clue on game days. Just think, if we practice on Tuesdays every week, that's 16 practices worth of working on timing, communication, and execution.

I don't want to give props to the Eagles but they practice every Tuesday and have the fewest injuries. That was an interesting point the commentators pointed out on Sunday.

Ok, I'm done

True. The moments were we should be proud get wiped out in the avalanche of ineptitude that seems to follow every loss.

It is like you have to sift through a mound of rubble to just to find something to grab onto to feel good.

About the only obvious moment of pride people could get this season was the Denver game. Even that was tarnished by the way it ended and the way it was sold as a "moral victory".

Nah. The majority of major professional sports teams are average, so being a fan of them is'nt silly. Whats silly is expecting these players to all of a sudden change their ways after a decade of evidence suggesting otherwise. At some point you have to just realize what we see year in and out is who these players are so expecting more from them and getting upset when they do the exact same thing is silly.

Yet you tune in every week like the rest of us. I guess we're all silly.

Screams coaching. Or lack there of.

Man. Every season it's one entity or the other that plagues this team.

The OL and Murray need to be commended on a great effort. The OL completely dominated in the run game and kept Romo clean given he dropped back to pass over 50 times.

Isn't that the truth. I suspect we will feel the same about the entire season in 2 weeks.
