Guess who leads the NFC in rushing yards per game? Julius Jones, baby.

He leads the NFL in rushing yards per game. And out of the 27 running backs with at least 60 carries (Julius has 86), he has the fourth-highest average per carry.

Really, i thought Tatum Bell was averaging more. I could be wrong. Of course he only played three game so far.

Oops, you're correct. I was looking at the guys ahead of Julius in yards and forgot that Denver hadn't played four games yet.

So ... as long as the Ravens hold Tatum Bell to fewer than 93 yards tonight, Julius will lead the NFL in yards per game.

Nice find, thanks. What is his average thus far this season?

On a side note, Julius hit exactly 2,200 career rushing yards yesterday in only 25 games played. That's an 88 YPG avg. Obviously, I won't dare place him against the NFL All-Time Rushing leader, but Emmitt had an 81.2 YPG career avg.

The only reason I mention this, is that it seems Julius gets very little respect in todays NFL in comparison to my memories of commentary on Emmitt back in the days....Or is it just me? Also, Julius has more career rushing yards than both Kevin Jones and Stephen Jackson (in less games played).

Just trying to find a shred of optimism after yesterday's performance (or lack thereof). So I guess I'll consider it a tribute day for E. Smith, as both Julius and Witten eclipsed 2,200 career yards on the same day.

I think the only lack of respect comes from the fickle folks on here
