Buy Bose or Klipsch headphones... Amar Bose and Paul Klipsch (RIP), have forgotten more about audio technology that the "Beats" crowd will ever learn...

Less than half the price and MUCH better sound quality...

I realize you can't walk down the street and make the sideways peace sign and get your gangsta on, but your music will sound a lot better...

Bose and Klipsch are both in the audio HoF for a reason... they revolutionized speaker/headphone technology... Dr. Dre? Not so much...

I don't know if I'd go that far... Bose revolutionized speaker/headphone technology?

I'm not an audiosnob by any stretched (as evidenced by my opinion that the chatter over how terrible Dre's are is way overblown), but recommending Bose as a "revolutionary" alternative to Dre's would get you ridiculed by most audiophiles.

For me the bottom line is listen to what you can afford and what sounds good. Whether it's Monster, Denon, Bose or otherwise, you're going to pay a bit for cache.
