Not sure if FOX mentions it, they usually don't miss much. But this win was the 500th in the Dallas franchise. Only the Chicago Bears hit the 500 win mark faster than we did. They have 863 wins and started in what, 1933?

We are 11th in total wins now.

Dak should pass the great Steve Pelluer next week for passing yards in team history and be #7.
2 TD's he passes Eddie LeBaron for 7th place.

The announcer said yesterday that the TD pass of 81 yards was Dak's longest, but that is wrong, last year the 83 to Zeke at Steelers is the longest.

Landry 1960-1989.......29 years
Everybody else 1989-2017....28 years

As you see we are almost even on the wins. Difference is Landry by himself compared to multiple head coaches

That's not the only difference: number of games needed to get to 250 wins.

Landry: 418
Everybody else: 448

Landry also started out with a winless expansion team.

Correction on the Bears win, it is 747 since 1920. Steelers started in 1933, and have 615 wins.
CBS yesterday had the wrong number.

Less games in the regular season when Landry was coach.........I was just being funny but factual

For years I used to hear that the Raiders "had the most wins in the super bowl era" and hear it often, until the Cowboys passed them, then I stopped hearing people mention at all who had the most wins in the super bowl era. Speaks volumes.
