and it's well deserved, fans are saying great things about him, and i would just like to say one thing.

barring injury he is going to go down as one of the greatest to ever play the position. Better enjoy him now, because he is a hall of famer in the making

I'm too cautious an individual to accept after only 5 games that he's going to the HOF about 15 years down the road. While it would be great, I'd like to see how he finishes out this season and begins in 06 before I make ticket arrangements to see his enshrinement in Canton HOF.

BTW: I just watched a video on DallasCowboys.com which showed Aikman's HOF enshrinment speech. While rather lengthy, it was awesome. I admit it almost brought tears to my eyes--he thanked Michael, Emmitt, Moose and all of his former coaches both in little league/highschool/college and on the Cowboys. A lot of Cowboy fans there. He also paid tribute to the other 4 HOF enshrinees and thanked their supporters for staying til end end when he was enshrinned. It was great. Sure hope that Michael Irvin makes it this year; wonder who he will ask to present him. Aikman had Norv Turner do it for him.

I gotta go back and watch Rayfield Wright's enshrinment as well.

I by no means am putting him in the hall after 5 games. Just saying watching him, barring injury i feel like he is going to be considered one of the best to ever play the game. We are truly in for a treat JMHO obviously

Forgot who said it but they noted that only Romo could get everyone to stop talking about Owens.

What's so funny? who said we won anything? I'm just voicing my opinion after watching they way he plays. I only see 2 weaknesses in his game, and Montana had one of those, while Favre has the other.

Dude put down the spiked egg nog, it's only been 5 1/2 games since Romo has been the QB. While I do agree he's got some great attributes, I too as Parcells mentioned last week, want to see him go through some adversity in games because it won't be all roses on the field every game.

average arm strength
throws off balance too much/gunslinger
i agree. im still wondering about his arm strength though. we don't throw to many deep balls. but that one that romo threw to owens in washington(t.o. dropped it) was a perfect deepball. i think his arm strength is above average

I'm with you my fellow romosapien. What some failed to notice is that you said HE IS GOING TO GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE GREATEST, as in not now but in the future. This is your opinion your guess based on what you've seen.

I happen to agree with it. He has demonstrated all the ability you would ever want to see in a QB. The only question is longevity. Can he will he stay healthy and do it over 8-10 years.

I believe barring some serious bad luck, like a car accident or slipping and breaking his neck in the tub, he will.

After careful consideration of Romo's performance I think I've identified his single best attribute. The one thing he may very well do as well or better than any quaterback. I mean any quarterback ever. I'll explain.

After each game a friend and I would talk about his performance. What I noticed was that in each game thier were a few misfires. A few opportunities to hit open receivers that he'd miss. And of course they're were also a few drops and an occasional sack.
Example: were talkin about the Cards game and how he was a little off to start with 3 high throws. And then we talked about the TO drops and it hit me How the hell is he hittin on damn near 70% of his passes?

He sees the field like nobody I've ever seen. He has an almost unreal ability to identify all the defenders he needs to and what they are doing. He almost always finds a good place to go with the ball. I'm not talkin dump offs to RB's because Barber and Jones have caught few passes these last five games. I'm talkin about TE's and WR's down the field. He almost never has a throw away, a wasted play where he can't find someone.

I agree 100%, He can turn his body and look to his left, while in his mind he KNOWS what the defense is doing on his right, therefore turning to his right quickly, and firing the ball within miliseconds. he does this alot.

His mental preperation is second to none. he is making 10 year vets look like the 1st year players
