Lottery Tickets at DE

[Verdict]

The team has a lot of guys at DE and it’s going to be interesting to see what happens. Quinn (now injured) was in the mix, Taco (high draft pick/underperformer) Gregory ( suspension), Jackson (rookie), Crawford (jack of all trades master of none) and a few others.

Obviously you have Tank and a lot of maybes. But if we can hit on more than one our options get a little better.

It would be nice to move on from Crawford’s contract although it looks more reasonable than it once did.

we have bodies at DE in camp, but this is the process of seeing if we have enough legit playmakers at DE.

DLaw - we'll likely sit him out for preseason. Methinks just conditioning-light practice up to opener.
Crawford - ditto here as well. dunno extent of his PUP, but think same plan for him as well
Taco- shoulder injury could slow him that much more. Hard decision has to made on him at final cut
Armstrong- positive hear-say signs but I have to see him in live game action. Showed nothing as a rookie.
Jackson/Jelks- other hear say signs but awaiting live game action as well.
Hyder - another we'll have to see this summer to decide to keep him vs the rookie DEs and Taco.
Quinn- hand injury will force him to miss time, not sure what Quinn he will be in ' 19 (pre- back injury or new & improved)

I far more prefer a Quinn/Gregory 1-2 punch at RDE than seeing Crawford back at DE. but ....
