No chance at a MVP. He's clearly elevated himself as a top 4 DPOY candidate in my eyes, the only other players I see an argument for is Houston, Mathis, Earl Thomas.

He's a great player in an awful defense. The fact we can have someone thus good at LB and still have one of the worst defenses of all time is amazing

Lee actually has insane numbers. 2nd in the league in tackles 1st in interceptions. Has to be the first time this has happened 8 weeks into a season right?

So frustrating to see this guys talents wasted. What a great game he had, hell what a great season he is having.

He won't win but he's been a beast. I saw somewhere though that he has rated as our worst cover LB.

Lee has been a BEAST! But I am sorry, rewarding players on a defense that is DEAD LAST in the NFL is part of the problem in Dallas. It allows Jerry to conitue to sell something OTHER than winning. Which he has gotten quite comfortable with. Name him to the Pro Bowl. Let him earn all the incentives in his contract. But we are dead last in the NFL on defense. And therefore no matter how good or bad anyone is playing, POY or MVP should not even be dicussed!

You could make an argument for the DPOY award, but not the League MVP. You could also make a case for the rookie in Buffalo, Kiki Alonso, as well. They both have very identical numbers.

Sean Lee - 81 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 fumble recovered, 1 touchdown

Kiki Alonso - 81 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovered, 1 sack

At the very least, it's good to see Lee get some major props from the media. He is just a damn good football player.

In my opinion, Kiki's numbers are more impressive. Not only did he recover a fumble, as did Lee, but he also forced one. Plus he has a sack. I dont put too much stock into TDs since pick-6es can be flukey.

I can't fathom the type of season a MLB would have to have to win league MVP.

It would probably start with not being on the team that gave up the most yards in the league. I'm actually shocked to see that we are off the Saints historic pace last year.

Certainly should be All-Pro this year so far. He is in Madden Cheat Code Mode with his outstanding play.

We should hire Rob Ryan to fix our Defense like he has done for the Saints! :)
