Lousaka Polite and the FB position.

From what I've seen of this guy I like. And the FB position at this point is only interesting because there is really only one true FB competing for the position. Of course Bickerstaff is competing there also. But my guess - if actions are any indication - is that Polite will make the 53 man roster.

I'm guessing Bickerstaff will be cut.

My initial intuition was that we wouldn't carry a FB on our roster. I thought we were going to be running a lot of 2 TE sets which doesn't require a FB. But running too much of that means our offense might be too vanilla.

I think we keep Polite to mix it up. And he has made a preseason TD catch.

What are thoughts on this guy?

It's already pretty thin my man. There is only one on the depth chart. I could be mistaken and Bickerstaff could already be cut. But I think he's still on the roster.

I think we definitely keep Polite though. We're going to need a FB this year. I'm pretty sure we keep him. But a few weeks ago I was thinking along the same lines as you.

But is Bickerstaff practice squad eligible?
