Love for Witten

He was criticized all season long, but he hung in there no matter who was at QB. He became everybody's security blanket, making plays when his teammates around him seemingly had no clue. I knew he was a warrior, but this difficult season told us more about Witten than any season so far. A lot of people assumed that Romo was the reason Witten had the stats that he did. If Romo's injury proved anything, it's that Witten is a HOF calibre TE. Whether or not he gets in is another matter.

Every now and then a player comes along who is just special. That is Jason Witten. Not only is he supremely talented, but he does everything right. He is a model for what you want in a football player, but more important than that, this is the guy you hope your daughter brings home and says she is going to marry.

Early in the season with all his penalties and false starts I was starting to lose faith in Witten believing he was part of the problem. But since Garrett took over he's been our best player. I'm glad he turned things around and that I was wrong. He's a warrior indeed.

Great performance this year by witten.
I completely agree about the security blanket - amazing how the 2nd and 3rd string QBs totally lock in on him.

I will say that doesn't make him a great husband for my daughter. I would have to know a little more about him.
