I just find it funny how a lot of people on this board choose if they like Romo based on each wk. I mean if you hate the dude just say it and stick with it. No matter if he wins a SB or throws 30 ints this season. The past two wks a lot o people were on the Romo wagon now that he has a horrible game (100% his fault we loss) some who were talking about how much of a leader he is are now hating him again. The world felt a bit weird with all the Romo love anyway so I guess everything is back to normal now lol.

Just pick one. either you hate him or like him this fan base is the only fan base that I've seen other then the Commanders who judge their loyalty to their Qb based on how they played that wk.
I'm not saying don't be upset because this was the worst loss I've seen in awhile but guess what people we have 12 games left in the season hurt players possibly coming back healthy so the world isn't over and yes if it wasn't for Romo you can argue that we would be 4-0 but you can also argue that if it wasn't for him we would be 0-4 the truth is 16-0 or 10-6 both will still allow us a playoff birth.

I know the antiRomo (at least for this wk) are gonna take their shots at me but I'm still behind Romo although he sucked yesterday I would still pick him over any QB that isn't named Brady,Rodgers or Brees.

I hate that I love him.

I have tried to like him as the QB.

No more. You can put me in the "Hate Romo as a QB" club. I still he and the Cowboys do well.

But, I just can't see it.

would actually be an interesting poll if the moderators could set one up.

Which club are you in:
A) I love Romo and believe he's the QB that can get us a Superbowl
B) I've grown to hate Romo and think he can't win the big game

I'm with you, its stupid how some so called fans, hate ROmo one week, love him for two weeks, and hate him another.

Romo is who he is, he makes mistakes from time to time but he is a QB that will win you games, see week 2 and 3 and he is a QB that will lose you games, see game 1 and 4. But the losses are not all on Romo.

The defense can still step up and stop the team, special teams needs to step up at times, and this OL needs to start dominating. Romo threw some stupid passes, INT #2 was not his total fault. On a slant the WR should never allow a INT. Also Why the hell is Garrett calling passing plays when we are up 27-3. Run the DAMN BALL!!! Also why are we passing the ball 1st and 10 from the DAL 20 which leads to the #3 INT.

Also I like when Dallas is 4th and goal on the goallinewe run the ball besides throwing it up to Dez. Then up 27-3 Garrett forgets to run the ball. His playcalling is terrible.

so if he goes 4tds and 0 ints and wins in NE, I bet you will be jumping on the other club.

....he's just so DAMN stubborn. Wont' give up on a play....won't throw it away, can't take a sack due to ribs.....I wanna get behind the guy but........jeebus he' makes it IMPOSSIBLE. It's up to Garrett now IMO..he's the ONLY one that can take the ball out of this guys' hands and reign him in. Shoulda done it yesterday. The first down call when he throws it RIGHT to Carpenter was classic bad Tony. DON'T GIVE HIM THE OPTION RED....RUN THE ****** BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My focus is more on Red now....:banghead:

Romo is good enough to get us where we want to go. But he needs to be mananged better by Garrett. Garrett may have hurt himself as much or more than Romo did. We had not business throwing the ball as much as we did in the second half of the game.

As hard as it is too swallow this loss I can honestly say Romo is still my man.
I make no excuses for him, in the end he failed to do his job. He will take a ton of heat but that comes with the job when you make the mistakes he did.

I agree with you and the last few post. on the second int the defender just makes a play and a lot of people forget about deenders being able to make a play and no matter who threw the ball it would be picked off. I was saying that Garret should run more the whole game yesterday. His play calling is starting to worry me especially when we are in the red zone. I'm still conident that this is a 10 or 11 win team with Romo

I don't see it as loving or hating the player, I see it as loving or hating the performances.

As the performances go, so do my opinions. I root for him every week no matter what the previous week held.

He's like the super hot girlfriend that irritates the heck out of you so you break up with her...than invariably you remember just how hot she is and of course you go crawling back to her....than once you made up and things are good for a bit...she reminds you why you broke up in the first place....and round and round you go....

Sorry , but, not gonna happen. The 4tds against the Pats OR me back in the club.

I wish him well and hope he does succeed with this team. I want him to succeed for Witten, Ware, James, etc.

But, I would be watching on the outside where I will listen to the "I told ya so's" from all the club members.

Gonna be waitin a long time for that.

I think it's a flawed argument, but I don't see how anybody can argue against this realistically. Rex Grossman go his team to the Super Bowl, Tony Romo CAN, but there are better quarterbacks than Rex Grossman that have never seen the Super Bowl. Romo's my quarterback. I am disappointed in that game yesterday, he's better than that. He's got all the talent and intangibles it takes though, everything just has to click.

I fought the temptation to say this for a while now, however it's become obvious now, Romo will be good enough to break your heart when it really matters...

Meaning he'll play good enough for 3/4th's of the game then that last quarter will make you wish you'd never seen him behind center...

Rex Grossman DID NOT get his team to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys helped with that when a gutless coach didn't attack a secondary that was fielding a guy bowling a week earlier , another working in insurance, and PETE HUNTER.

Yes, PETE HUNTER.

Romo may have the talent. But, he is missing the "key Ingredient".

A brain to go along with it.

a defense tactic aimed at self preservation but at the same time the result will alienate you from the team you love. I think you should reconsider. :)

LOL.

Bro, I have been at this a long time. If Hogeboom or Longlely didn't alienate me from this team.

Romo won't either. I haven't liked Jerry Jones in years and I am still here. And will be here after they are both gone.
