Love it or hate it... the McNabb effect on the draft

No matter how you feel about the McNabb trade........

I can say with certain confidence now that the Commanders have traded for McNabb that their pick will be Okung if available.

The down side and sure to make some people upset is that if Okung is off the board, the Skins are VERY high on Berry. I know there are many here including myself that will be praying the top 3 teams all pass on Okung.

They could trade down and pick up a linemen. Or draft Berry like you said. Their safety situation sucks, but its the whole thing again when comparing a position against a position, and what you really need more. It would make me sick if they got their o-line man and somehow got Atogwe.

LTs are just more important than safeties, they have more of an impact on a teams ability to win games. Berry is a great talent but Okung would make the Commanders a better team.

I don't think the the Rams, Lions and Bucs will take him either way. Some other team will have to leap frog the Skins.

Edit- The Lions may take him, but then they'd be passing on Mccoy and Suh.
