I wouldn't trade up. I think one of our targets will be there with our pick. I would like to snag a running back at some point. We really suffer when Murray can't go.

I wouldn't draft a RB today for anything. Tomorrow perhaps. Otherwise get a FA there is always a bunch available. It's a throwaway position and you don't spend high draft picks on them any more.

Completely agree. We have a good one coming back from injury also... and I'm sure Randle will be better this year.

We differ on that. I see the drop in early interest in running backs as presenting excellent value at the position. I understand the need on the other side of the ball but also think that being able to shorten the game by chewing up clock is adventageous for a defense that shall we say struggles. There are some excellent fits for our offense in this draft and if a highly rated player on our board is there I would snap him up. Murray being in the last year of his deal and being brittle is a great concern. I see what you are saying about the later rounds but the best value may be three or 4. I def think we can get a good defender in 2 real good value should be there. Totally disagree on Randle though I think he is a very bad player.

If lawrence gets all the way toward the end of the second, then I would finally consider trading up. I don't see him dropping that hard though.

Sorry, that just doesn't make sense to me. Either the player is worth the pick or he's not. What they do after that doesn't effect it.

The Cowboys could go out and draft 10 kickers the rest of the way and Zach Martin was still a good pick at 16.
