loved the win... but

Bledsoe had a good game.

19-38 ( with 9 drops ), 229 yds ( add 50-70 if we catch those balls ) 2 TD's, no INT's

A couple good throwaways instead of risking an INT or a sack.

Not to mentioned a 50 yard screen play that was called back on a ticky tack foul. Bledsoe showed some good touch on the short passes and was on target with the longer passes and did a good job of moving around in the pocket and as you mentioned he was willing to throw the ball away on a couple of plays instead of trying to force the issue

Yea, he looked good.

Some of you are crazy. We are going into a bye tied for first in our division. I hate to be around here had we lost.

Pretty much what I saw as well.

Roy had a good game too.

Roy & Terry are the only people this team consistently making plays. If we don't toughen up we're not gonna be able to hang with Philly or the Giants.

I was not at all pleased with the way we played ..... way to many mistakes...

too many dropped balls and Bledsoe is gonna get somebody killed... special

teams need special help and the defense while for the most part played well

they still look like a work in progress and far from a finished product... color

me officially worried...

I agree for the most part. The good news is that the problems we are seeing is moreso from a lack of concentration, i.e. penalties, drops, poor thows last week, than from a lack of talent, which was the case in the past. These things are correctable and I think BP will address them over the next 2 weeks. This is a good time for a bye week (esp. with the TO injury).

If our OL cntinues to improve and builds continuity, I think we have a playoff caliber team capable of winning the division. That is why I'm not officially worried yet. For the first time in a long time, I actually feel confident in 3rd down situations that we can 1) pick it up even if it is 3rd and long and 2) we can get a stop on 3rd even if its 3rd and short.

What was wrong with Bledsoe? Other than guys dropping easy balls Drew had a very good night.

He thre short to TO in the 1st (I think) and almost got picked. He thew the ball off target to wide open RBs coming out of the backfield on about 3 occasions. A couple other times I thought he had time to find the open receiver.

All QB's are going to miss their targets at times but for the most part he was hitting his men only to watch them drop passes. You talk about 3 passes hell he had over 10 dropped on him. As for his time in the pocket Dallas rolled him out quite a bit and he bought some time on his own by moving around in the pocket. Last week Drew deserved the heat he took with no excuses. Lastnight he played a very good game and his numbers should have been much better had guys not been putting them on the ground.

You're right, he was not perfect.

Dropping passes seems to be contagious.

I'm not that worried about them. As an aside, Owens has always had the occasional drop.

The sloppy play on the other hand, is a cause for concern.

A couple by Witten bother me. With Washington paying attention to the outside guys it was important that the passes over the middle to the TE and backs were made and seeing guys drop some passes that were on the money was a bit discouraging. Especially knowing that Washington was not able to do much to stop us.

well considering TO had a broken finger, and the Commanders secondary was playing pretty physical and hitting receivers right as they caught it, I can definitely live with that for now.

I couldn't understand all the dropped ball neither. Witten!! Crayton!! I can understand TO with a broken finger but Glenn as well. I counted at least 8.
