Re-watching the game, but did anyone else notice how after a few great catches that Dez just tossed the ball to the ref and went back to the huddle?

He made a wonderful catch on the sideline, and a great deep grab, but he was cool as could be.

No pouding the chest, no screaming, no "look at me" moments, nothing.

I realize that in today's sports universe, there's a lot of the "look at what I did" in a team sport, which I've never really understood (it takes a team to make things work), but when it came to Dez's demeanor, I, personally, loved it.

Want to give credit where it's due.

Noticed the same thing and agree completely. I especially noticed this on that deep 3rd & 1 catch he made at the end of the 2nd. I don't wanna jump the gun on this because he's still very young, but it looks like he's really carrying himself the way you'd like to see on the field.

Also, I personally haven't seen too much of the sideline footage, but everything I've read indicates that he's a great teammate on the sidelines during games. Getting the other guys hyped, always a positive influence, trying to rally people etc.

this actually goes back to last season....the last 3rd of the season i was noticing it.....but its great to see

Pretty confident, after one of his catches on the sideline he was yelling.

He's focused and that's a good thing. The sky is the limit for Dez, but Romo has a lot of weapons so the stats might not be as gaudy as they could. That's a good thing too.

He's been like that since the start of last season..when he owned D. Hall (for the second time) in the last skins game to get us in FG range for the win, he just politely walked off the field..like its nothing new. LOVE IT!!!

Great for Dez, carrying himself like Navachek -hmmmm.
Now hopefully Arses like Dion will stop saying he's not playing up to his abililty. Certain media members act like Dez all out sucks becaues some of his issues outside of football.
The more negative crap they throw at Dez the apt he is to start "pounding his chest". See the irony?

It was like that for most if not all of the Cowboys. I didn't see Tree and Miles dancing it up or doing the salsa after their TDs. Only person I saw chest pounding was Murray after the big run. But it was really not much of a celebration at all.

I think the team is completely focused on getting the job done rather than having a chest pounding moment. Even after the game they were already thinking about their next game with Seattle rather than celebrating their victory. Thats a true sign this team is not your Dallas Cowboys team from before.

In Jason's post game comments he talks a lot about demeanor. You could see it all over the place Wed night.

It's the Bill Belichick way coming to Dallas.

Exactly...! Garrett, IMO, is teaching these guys how to be professionals.

Yeah, wear a suit and tie. If you look good, you will do good.

During a game, don't act a fool if you do something good, and don't act a fool if you do something bad.

Play the game under control of your emotions, and things will come your way, sooner or later. Because once you lose that mental edge, your are toast!

As long as we do it without videotaping our opponents, it'll be fine with me.:laugh2:
