Twitter: Lowest sack % when pressured

Its great that you don't get sacked.

But really, it is what you do under pressure that matters:

Do you make a play? Do you step up

Sometimes you should throw it away, sometimes you should take a sack. Sometimes you should run or step up in the pocket.

But the percentage of times you get sacked under pressure is not a significant barometer because not all pressure is the same.

Dak is not houdini at all back there and he does not step up in the pocket very often at all.

Yeah, % of sack under pressure is another thing to bring to the table and is very useful.

If you have more pressure stats then you should link them.

Just incredible

I don't agree. Dak still has issues stepping up in the pocket. He simply has more open weapons to throw to now and he has receivers he has confidence in. This year hte Oline is blocking much better up the middle. Last year it was right in his face.

PFF has Dak as number 2 among top 5 QBs under pressure LAST year. Jamie’s Winston was also top 5. This shows their credibility as far as measuring pressure is concerned.

This guys logic is extremely flawed anyways. PFF defines pressure as:

“Under pressure passing is any time the quarterback is disturbed from his normal throwing motion from set up to release, or anytime a pressure is registered on a given passing play.”

The Cowboys have Collins at RT and Frederick back at Center. A play can be counted as pressure when a sack isn’t even near the play and coupled with the fact the Cowboys throw a LOT more, the percentages would naturally drop.

If anything, this attests to how good the pass blocking has been.

He use to do all that. Don’t know what happened?

How about 2 specific plays in the last game related to how he does under pressure:

1)Int on the screen
2)Failure to step up and thus got stripped sacked for another turnover!

Sure it does because as noted above, not all pressure is the same, but it could be counted under this stat.

Lol, no it doesn't. The type of pressure isn't specified at all, so this has absolutely no telling on OL performance.

0 for 2

Want me to give two examples of QBs messing up under pressure and consider them all bad?
Dak didn't see the guy at all, considering it was a DT that beat XSF in record timing. Stupid example. Good play by the DT.

So you don't have any stats? I'm shocked.

Terrible play by Dak. He watched the DT go right by him and Filo pushed him by. A good QB steps up into that gap left there.

Watch the link - https://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2019112801/2019/REG13/bills@cowboys

3.5 seconds to throw and a step up in the pocket fixes it all!

2 turnovers - all on Dak - both under pressure - how is them stats for you!

Do you have pressure stats for other QBs to compare to Dak's or no? Simple question asked three times.

You want to bring up the fumble so I'll give you a stat. Dak has the 2nd least fumbles of all starting QBs who have started every game, only QB with less is Rodgers.

He improved tremendously from last year to this one in this area. Last year he was creating his own sacks way too regularly.

Dude, you can watch him play and KNOW that he does not step up in the pocket. Do they make a stat for that?

How many sacks he takes under pressure is just silly and meaningless. But go on and find something that makes you feel better about him! He still is not stepping up in the pocket!

You know what - he did not take a sack on that pick - go Dak - made that stupid stat look better!

Got any more lame excuses? Dak is rated near the top in more categories than just pressure - where he's ranked in the top too.

I'd give up this lame part time job of yours called "discrediting Dak with horrible excuses."
