Loyal puppy waits for owner at rest stop for two days

I'm surprised someone didn't take it home thinking it was a stray.

According to another source, someone almost adopted him:

But he might not have been there much longer. Ledbetter said a family that had stopped at the rest area was just about to adopt the apparently lost puppy.


“In about 60 seconds, he would have been gone,” Ledbetter said.

It's ridiculous it took 2 days to realize the dog was missing. They do eat, drink, pee and poo.

how long does it take to travel 170 miles in a truck, 3hrs??? it still seems a little sketchy.

Well, let's see.....three hours down the road......three hours back to get the pup...... three hours back to where he turned around to go back...ten hours+! BTW, I would have gone back, no matter what!
