Unbelievably bad coaching, horribly stupid penalties, did everything they could do to give the game away and still won. Good grief.

Bad coaching? How so? I agree with the penalties, they were awful in that aspect.

After the 1Q, A&M was dominating them both offensively and defensively. LSU coaching made adjustments and they didn't allow another point until the 4Q, when the game was already 2 scores with a couple minutes left.

not trying to score a TD in the redzone, going hurry up on offense with 5 minutes left. Letting the clock run down at the end of the third and having to punt against the wind to start the 4th.4 turnovers and 2 missed field goals by a&m and LSU still barely won against an aggie defense that just gave up 60 points to a directional school. I'm surprised LSU's D coord doesn't go Buddy Ryan on their O coord.

Not trying to score in the red zone was a smart move. I guess you haven't seen Mettenberger try to throw the ball. The guy is a spaz, why risk an INT when you have one of the top defenses in the country? Yes, their ST gave up a huge return but the defense held them and they missed a 38 yd FG.

LSU's offense has never been good, as their passing game sucks and really their running game isn't very good either. Their defense forces TO's and is obviously what wins and keeps them in games.

Next, yes, they went hurry up with 5 minutes left, but still never passed the ball. I believe the announcers said they ran the ball like 13 out of 14 plays or something. Clock is still running...

Once LSU figured out how to keep Manziel in the pocket, they dominated the game. That was the adjustment they made.

That was how Florida was able to beat A&M reduce Manziel ability to make impact runs and keep him in the pocket. He is a really young QB and his future will be bright if he continues to develop his passing game but he is what a true freshman and the way to beat him is to contain him in the pocket and force him to throw and make a mistake. The WR core outside of Swoop is also very young.

I think A&M future is bright under Summlin but they are going through young QB growing pains

LSU may make some dumb penalties here and there. They have also not had a great passing attack in a long time.

They are the SEC type of team that runs the ball and relies on it's D.

You do not win that many games against good talent like LSU does by being the dumbest team ever or even remotely close to the dumbest team ever.

Now substitute dumbest with most boring and you can make a strong case.

Les Miles does make some strange coaching decisions but they usually turn out in his favor.
