LSU SS Reid Red Flagged for Shoulders

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn, LSU SS Eric Reid has been red flagged by NFL teams for "bad shoulders."
This isn't the first time we've caught wind of this rumor, but it is the first time it's coming from a reliable source. McGinn is a Hall of Fame journalist. McGinn still sends Reid to the Bengals in his final mock draft, suggesting not all is lost for the athletic LSU alum. Cincinnati certainly needs safety help.

True but I have can issue with SS and the word "shoulder." I think Woodson recklessly throwing his body in there and think "bad shoulders won't last."

That's even more reason to worry! Carter, Murray and Lee's problems were well documented. That didn't stop them from drafting them.

LSU safety Eric Reid promises that his shoulders will hold up to the pounding of an NFL career. Reid dismissed suggestions that some teams have concerns about his medical report. “My shoulders haven’t been a problem with me at all in my college career,” Reid said. “I did have three shoulder surgeries in high school. I haven’t had one minor injury to them since then, so it’s not a problem at all. I think that shows on film. I’m a very physical tackler. I’m very confident in my health.”

He's a playmaker. Unlike other guys getting hyped on here for their great coverage. Funny how that is. Reid would be a fine FS as long as he's healthy.

Whoa. Allen and Johnson are FS, Church and McCray are SS.

Johnson might be a tweener type guy who could play SS, but how do people think that Church could be a FS?
