He's athletic for a big guy too.love his size.
monsterous.
i like him. He's athletic for a big guy too.
I like Brown too. At least as a swing type guy. But I think Pierce can develop into a damn good tackle, right or left. Preferably left.i like him.
another ot i like is ku's logan brown.
miami's jalen rivers is another monster i like.
but pierce would be a fun pick to watch develop.
What's his grade now, though?Guyton 6.41 - https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyler-guyton/32004755-5973-4424-47c4-5396aaed336f
Pierce 6.00 - https://www.nfl.com/prospects/hollin-pierce/32005049-4530-1658-ad91-2f7a7a787804
If you scroll down you will see Lance Zierlein had Guyton with a 1st round grade and Pierce with a 5th round grade.

Brugler has him as a fifth-round value. What's his grade now, though?
I'd say round 3 for Pierce...and about 3 for Guyton hindsight. But Guyton was a RT...Pierce plays LT. Correction, Pierce also played RT. But successfully switched to LT.
I just think he looks like the better player. I know you're a fan of Guyton. I'm just not sold on him.
He was a 450 lb walk on. And, yes, a bit raw. But smart and coachable. I mean, I'm not trying to burn round 1. But these are the types of players Dallas loves.Highlight videos are always great, but I trust the words of those who study these players more.
Hollins has an inconsistent anchor, he oversets at times, his change of direction is lacking, he takes poor angles that allow linebackers to avoid his blocks, he falls off blocks because of excessive leaning in the running game and he needs work on timing his punches.
Those are Brugler's words, not mine. He is a monster, though, and was singled out by coaches for his "dedication to technique," so maybe he can fix his technique issues.
Who is Brugler?Brugler has him as a fifth-round value.
Speed rushers are going to eat Pierce alive in the NFL. At best I think he is an average to slightly below average starting RT. I think he ceiling is Steele. Guyton is definitely a better prospect. And Im not a fan od GuytonWhat's his grade now, though?
