pretty sure he could have been a factor in this game. Especially using the jet sweep in one of the numerous failed 3rd downs

I agree. Lucky brings a speed element. Can't teach that.

He gives us some gadget junk yardage to our offense.

Eh, he is a spare so I don't really think they missed him on the field. The biggest impact was the distraction to the team that it may have caused.

Wrong. They missed him on KR and on the offense. The sweep look is just as important as the sweep, maybe even more important. Makes the defense respect that wide sweep. Keeps them from blitzing A gap. Can't blitz if you have to get to the flat.

Nope....that is a lame excuse...Lucky is almost irrelevant week to week

we desperately need a real return guy from the draft, have done for years

I like Lucky but that 1 jet sweep wouldn't of made a difference. He wouldn't of made a difference on punt returns either. 3 punt returns in a row they got a holding penalty. This team still gets stupid penalties that kill drives and field position. Lucky doesn't change any of that.

I do think that they missed the Jet Sweep last night. They run a lot of action and misdirection with that play. It affects how you have to play your end and LB, which is how they schematically took Wit out of the game. It would have been a nice counter to how they were lining up.

Maybe if Lucky was in the game, we wouldn't have seen so much of Dunbar and his uselessness. I blame Garrett, or whoever did the suspension of one game.
I know rules are rules, but there are different ways to apply them. In this case a hefty fine would have been better.

Exactly my point. Its not the one time you run the sweep, its the look of the sweep that make the defense align differently and account for something on the edge
