Luepke to play big role in offense - again?

Yeah, I'm not seeing the talent level they do with him but they clearly see his upside.
I mean deep inside you can see upside among all these guys. The young guys anyway. You can talk yourself into all these guys having upside. They always do with these undrafted guys.

Who lied? He didn't say he would be a big part of the offense.
Did you read the article?

What is clear for Schottenheimer, however, is versatile fullback Hunter Luepke will be a big part of the offense.

“I’d be remiss for not talking about Hunter Luepke,” Schottenheimer told reporterson Tuesday. “He’s playing some (running back) for us, he’s playing some fullback, he’s playing some tight end, and all he does is do everything well.”

He’s not doing any of this soon as he fumbles on the goal line we won’t hear from him again.

True, but from what we've seen from Leupke in the pros, he doesnt show the talent level of al player they would showcase......I just see him as a role player at this point and not a cornerstone

So, the they is the writer of the article? Shottenheimer never said he would be a big part of the offense. I saw the press conference.

I think that he only has the 1 fumble in his career and that 1 might have been on the qb.

Go watch it again you missed some things. They said he’s playing some tight vs end, running back and fullback.

Tired of hearing about Luepke. He’s done little and fell out of favor after a fumble. He has made a few plays as a receiver.

He's a helluva football player. Can do a little bit of everything - run, catch, block and play special teams. To not use him effectively or God forbid, cut him in favor of a lesser player would be foolish.

Exactly which games has he got a chance? This is the same old story. McCarthy!!!!!!!!

Same thing was said about Tolbert. He started and produced. Same thing was said about Schoon. He started and produced.
