Lunda Wells interviewing for Jets OC

In Pittsburgh McCarthy likely will call the plays so Wells would be OC in name only. Sure, he will be responsible for putting game plans together and will have the ability to give input on game day as well, but he would be what Schotty was as OC under Big Mike (most likely).

The Jets job would allow him to call plays and be the true OC. But, their cupboard is bare! No QB1. No RB1. No stacked OL. They also have no DC either so figuring out how to play complimentary football will be a challenge.

Not an easy decision to make. It depends on what is most important to him. Maybe staying in Dallas as TE coach might be the best option.

Gotta be careful in NY. Glenn is fired after a miracle and Lunda will be too. Gotta factor that in. And sadly if you aren’t off the Shanahan tree you might get one shot. Something to weigh honestly. Jets don’t care they have numerous first round picks next year and are probably tanking. I’d stay away.

He may be. Hell if things go so bad this year and the defense is unreal it may be Parker. I think Shottys leash is long enough to probably fend off Parker though if he does well. Parker may be one or two years and out.

Well, he did coach the West team to a victory last night. That should upgrade his resume.
