LVE or Calvin Ridley?

Vander Esch. Ridley is no joke, but Lee can't play 16 games. Vander Esch is doing well as a rookie, and might help Dallas solve the Lee problem.

Remember, Dallas could NOT win without Lee.

They have won without an "X" WR.
It’s a real tough one for me.

Ridley. Two reasons.
One, we have a young qb that needs weapons.
Two. We could have got a lb in the later rounds, Jewel from Iowa sticks out.
If both become pro bowl types I take the mlb. But Ridley is exactly what dak needs. It’s a tough one.

Defense wins championships so they say.
Ridley is looking awesome and would have loved to have him. We've had an offense filled with elite weapons though and couldn't get to the championship game. I'm ready to take a different approach and see what happens if we can assemble an elite defense instead. It'll be refreshing not constantly having to watch teams march up and down the field on us at the end of games and actually having a defense that can close a game out. We still need to patch up the safety position though.

Are you all serious?
LVE easy
Ridley would not be having the success he is having in Atlanta here. Period. This uncreative coaching staff would have no idea what to do with him. We just now found out Zeke can catch.

LVE all the way.

Ridley has put up excellent numbers and his 6 touchdowns are extremely impressive.

Having said that, Ridley has to be benefiting from having Julio Jones as the #1 receiver. I'm sure defenses are double teaming (maybe tripling) to take him out of games and Jones still has 500 receiving yards. Which, in turn, opens up tons of opportunities for Ridley.

On top of that, the Atlanta offense is always playing from behind and are forced to air it out a majority of the games. Their defense is missing a few key players and it shows. Their defense is terrible and they currently sit at 1-3.

No telling how good Ridley would be in this offense and scheme.

I've seen a lot of good things about LVE. He has already contributed to the team and it is clear that he has a very high ceiling.

Ridley doesn't have the same type of production with Dak at QB in this offense. I don't understand why people still have this disconnect in u derstanding this?

LVE fills a practical need and is a developing player.

I just don’t see Ridley doing the same thing here. Certainly talented but also reaps the benefits in a top tier passing offense. Ridley puts up numbers and Julio has almost 200 yards on top of it? LVE was a huge need with Lee getting up there. I’m all about the defense and it’s about time that unit sees an improvement. After 4 weeks I like what I see from him the middle. Next 10 years should change your mind. I definitely would not change the pick.

People seem to be under the impression that any players stats will translate to any team in the league? If Ridley was here you can guarantee he wouldn’t be playing the way he is now. LVE has the skill set to be a special player in the middle of this D for a long time.

LVE, and it's not close...

Seriously, all bias aside, and it's not even close... However, at the beginning of the draft season, I actually wanted Ridley over Vandy..

But, just wait until his 3rd year; I'd bet a 2nd lein on my house that everyone will be praising his jersey...

Just wait until he starts racking up turnovers - that's his game.. People will forget we lost Lee...

Knowing what you know now, who would you rather have?
Lve and it ain't close, hes the starting MLB for years to come. Ridley is having success as the #3 playing against the other teams #3 corner and is protected by Jones and sanu being the defenses primary focus along with an above average run game. Saw enough of him in the sec playing LSU that I dont believe he would have much success as the #1 receiver in an offense and nothing I've seen changes that. Think he went to one of the few teams that he had the chance to be successful early. Put him on the outside against press coverage and his production will drop dramatically!

Dallas has one 100+yrd receiver. Cole Beasley @185 yards.
2nd player in yards is Zeke with 125
other than Swaim's 104 yards, Dallas doesn't have another player with 100 yards receiving

if these guys played for the Lions or Saints, Falcons they might have that in 3 quarters
remember when they traded for Hurns? he has 82 yards through 4 games
Tavon has 81 and 64 came on 1 play

I don't think Julio would do well here much less Ridley
