LVE's performance last night

Super Bowl winning coaches disagree with those who describe LVE as "trash".

Okay, he is not playing up to expectation and it looks like this will be his last season here, but to describe a Dallas Cowboy player as trash reveals a lot more about the poster than the player.

It's as if these players can be put into two categories only, 1st team All Pro or trash.

Would love to see the number of missed tackles from LVE this year. He's good for a few a game, I'd bet.

The Cowboys don't have anyone else to play middle right now. I saw a play in the Vikes second possession where they had Parsons in the middle and he just stood there and let the RB run past him. Worse. Parsons was moving the wrong way. Meanwhile LVE was doing his job of outside containment. The play wound up being a 15 yard run for the Vikes.

These cherry picked vids do highlight concern. But I don't think they tell the whole story.

That 20 yd run had me so angry. When they replayed you could watch LVE standing right in front of him, and almost didn't even touch him. How? A guy that size should bang on backs up the middle.

Zeke and pollard make runs every game. How are there any LB'ers worthy of their spots

Seems LVE paused to cover #35 who was his responsibility. Hard to be certain but sure looks like we were in base D.

LVE seems to catch ball carriers, like Jaylon, instead of driving through them.

He's appeared to have lost all explosiveness that he seemed to have had in his rookie year.

Sadly, he looks like he's going to be one of the few 1st round whiffs (busts) we've had in the past decade.

In all fairness that 2nd tweet about him not belonging on the field, that’s a designed stretch play that one of the top RB’s in the nfl decided to cut back at the last second - LVE’s job is to get outside and stop that stretch so I have to disagree
