we all know Jerry opens his mouth and all that comes out is lies and garbage and spins.

he said, we couldn't sign Henry because we couldn't afford him.

however cowboys have 23M in cap space. 7th in NFL

somebody tell me how good is our last two drafts and who are the stars?

No one is good enough at drafting to ignore free agency. It's not an exact science and teams have to supplement with fa. Certain teams seem to consistently struggle with certain positions. This is where a FA DT or two would make a big difference. Instead we continue to rely on only one side of talent acquisition.

BTW the whole 1 year "prove it" FA philosophy is a sham. It only helps to bring in selfish me first players who are quick to put their own numbers over team goals.

well, he was marketing the name. thinking more jersey sales. he never imagined it would be this bad.

if you go to the dallas cowboys pro shop, they are selling Zeke jersey's with #21. not even the new #15....I guess he had a large inventory he had to get rid of LOL

I dont know how many more things Jerry needs to tell this fan base for it to wake up.

Literally out of his mouth he said this team is in the upper tier and better than all the other teams in the NFL at revenue, jersey sales, and TV ratings.

Those 3 things are where Jerry wants to be. The product on the field is irrelevant.

Jerry is a marketer first. "We love our guys" is his way of selling you the proverbial poop sandwich. His guys are overhyped, overrated, and overpaid. The disappointment you feel after a game like Detroit is the difference between what you think the Cowboys are vs what they really are. How many poundings must they take before everyone understands this team is not any good? How did Jerry make people forget that he did nothing in the offseason after losing some key players to free agency?

Green Bay exposed Dallas last season. Jerry let a lot of talent from that team leave without replacing them. Why would anyone expect this team would be equal or better? This 2024 team is not that team. This team is bad. When you understand that these losses will not be so painful.

Until Jerry constructs a team without Jimmy that can at least advance to the Super Bowl, he doesn't belong in the same conversation as Davis. JMO. He has failed miserably these last 28+ years as GM.

That’s really not an opinion, its a fact. Just ask any NFL GM. It was ALL Jimmy and Jerry stayed out of the way and signed checks. Jerry is quite the revisionist historian.

Henry would not have made a difference in this team reaching the SB this season.
