Mac engel talks about the book Texas Stadium by roger staubach, how tex schramn helped build the cowboys, with suites that had never been done before, cheerleaders, americas team.

Brady asked about one story, and mac said there is too many, one is about the leon lett snow game, and cowboys Commanders home game, with roger staubach in his last game and cliff harris last game. This was the game that tony hill caught the winning touchdown.

Zoners as you know by now, Proctor will play at LOG. Burnett will play too.
Talked about Bolllinger at QB possibly. Mac said no serious big injury so far,but with Kosier out, Proctor will be ok, and concern about receiver depth, with no speed on this team Brady mentions.

Mac said there was really no one there that the cowboys could justify in first round. although the cowboys have put so much now on hurd and austin, and havent done anything yyet and now they are hurt.

Newman will play, he has been ok for a couple of weeks. Spencer wont play yet.

Stanback, just hasnt got the experience, but might play some..

Brady says he thinks romo will step forward with t o and witten, in midseasn form, and mac said so much continuity, so thats good for the cowboys.

Question now are they going to be better than 13-3 probably not, but are they going better than 0-1 in playoffs, mac said they had better.

Main thing, just get in playoffs, with bye week, you dont have to absoutley have to have it, just get in, and show rhythmn in december and january.

Mac said if you look at games like detroit and buffalo, they probably wont win those type of games ths year, so he puts them at 10-6 or 11-5.

On to cleveland, good on offense but bad on defense. Mac thinks derek anderson had a possibly a fluke one year wonder, and doesnt think he will possibly have same type of year like last year, and the cowboys might see quinn.

thats it fans

Sorry, the book texas stadium by roger staubach done by mac engel will be available the week of the home opener.

I don't like it when writers say we won't win games like we did against Buffalo & Detroit. Hey, you win some and you lose some, but good teams somehow find a way to win games even when they not playing their best. The reality is that the Bills played out of their minds last year helped along by Romo's INT problems. But in the end, their team simply wasn't good enough offensively to get the job done and we came back--admittedly everybody on our side of the ball played their hearts out in last 1-2 mins.

As for the win against Detroit, who says we won't win games like that again. Just the week before Brady brought NE back in somewhat similar fashion. So Romo isn't capable of doing the same for the Cowboys? Sure looked like in that game he was more then capable along with Witten, MBIII & good play by our OL.

The only reason why this team get this kind of dumb scrutiny is because we haven't won a playoff game in 12 years or won a super bowl. With these high expectations they will get criticized for dumb things by the media. Winning a SB will cure all this. That is why Brady gets a pass. Its not fair but its how these people work

yeah not winning playoff games in the last 12 years put question marks on your team;

then you add in, where the cowboys lost to panthers first year with parcells
then losing to seattle
then to giants all in the first playoff game,

right there raises question marks on the cowboys

but the book is suppose to be real good too by roger staubach done by mac engel

so enjoy;
