Seems pretty cool.

Wonder if it actually could work on a large-scale.

And didn't watch all the way through so not sure if they showed what happens to the waste.

About 8 pounds of trash for 1 gallon.

Simple math.

Cost of production of the oil from the plastic versus cost of the oil from refining crude.

If the first part is more than the second part, very limited application. Scalability is the second issue.

It's like biodiesel from used cooking oil. Its cheap if the restaurant is throwing it away. It's a PITA to collect it on a large scale for production of the biodiesel though.
