I like the talent that Dallas has brought in, and unlike offense the defense is constantly rotating guys in and out so who is named starter or rotation guy I don't think means that much.

I really hope Downs is not our primary slot corner. He needs to be everywhere and take advantage of all his skills and keep teams guessing.

Well I am not stuck on that, just what I hear, but hey if he is better elsewhere at times - so be it. I would be so glad we have that versatility

He won’t come off the field. But when he plays nickel it allows Thompson, Hooker and Downs on the field

I can't imagine any situation when he isn't on the field.

Changing to edge rush in Parker's new scheme , instead of middle LB .. maybe he's more fit for that role going forward than lateral and backwards ...

They'll likely play out his rookie contract vs trading him or cutting him camp, ..unless he is the worst defender in camp period .

Cowboys tend to play out duration in rookie contract years ...
