Smokescreen... Maybe not, but this far from the draft, none of this hearsay can be trusted. It's lying season. Just expect to know nothing until 2 weeks before the draft; that's when conjecture matters.

Jeanty is a top 5 talent this year. If he is there, the pick is obvious. Jeanty will be the pick, until he isn't. He is the top pick most likely to drop because of position value. He is also the most likely pick, because of overall value.

My overall opinion on the matter. Jeanty is going to the Bears at 10. Ben Johnson loves his RB's and they have already alleviated their need at Guard. Via(by way of)...(Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson).

If however, I am wrong and he is available. Run that card to the table, this kid is legit.

Notice they don't view it as a top priority "at 12".........what about a trade down to say 18-20? Hell, I would argue a number of posters have said the same thing about a few other positions. This only tells me they have a select few players/positions they stay at 12 and take.

They could go s few different ways at 12 if/when they pass on RB.
DT/DE would be top on my list. OL and WR are very much in play also. LB would be a stretch IMHO and I doubt CB or S would be BPA when we pick.

Maybe but how often do we go into the draft without a pretty good idea of what the Cowboys are going for? We even had a pretty good idea that Trysten Hill was the 2nd round pick a few years back. There dont seem to be a lot of misdirection moves from the Cowboys this time of year.....to the point that other teams move in front of us to get one of our targets with fairly high frequency.

It will be interesting. Jeanty may go before Dallas is on the board. I'm looking forward to the draft and looking forward to free agency as well. Also, looking forward to watching the new coaching staff come together.

Judkins seems like a really good fit at 44. Wouldn't be surprised if he is a better pro than Henderson. I could Judkins being like Josh Jacobs and Henderson being like CJ Spiller

A dtackle at 44 could be a good fit too. Kaleb Johnson is another back to watch. If 4 running backs and 4 qbs go before 44, it will drop a good dtackle to the Cowboys.

I think 2 of Henderson, Judkins and Johnson will be there at 44. Im not nearly as concerned with Johnsons 40 time as others seem to be.

DT should still be pretty deep at 44. We could get a guy that might have gone top 25 in other drafts

You got me. I looked at the wrong year. Egg on my face.

Either way, they are a different type of player. If you ask Henderson to carry 250-300 times he probably isnt going to be the same player as he was in Ohio state. Judkins is more suited to being a high carry back. I don't dislike either, but if I had to chose, Id take the 18- 20 carry a game guy
