Reports are surfacing that Bud Adams, owner of the Titians, has been seen having a pecan log with Mack Brown. Bud Adams, who still resides in Texas, has been trying to remain in the good graces of Texans since moving the Oilers to Nashville. Sources are remaining, at this time unnamed, though it is reported on Burnt Orange Nation. Rumors? Y'all decide.

I think this is BS! Someone reading into something that is not really there.

I wouldn't doubt Mack and Bud having lunch, dinner somewhere to discuss VY. But Mack wouldn't leave at this point in his career. IMO

I hope your right, I want nothing more than Mack to stay with the Horns.

Texas I'm sure would be real happy after just losing Muschamp to Florida.

I doubt there is much to this but, it would explain a lot with why so many long time head coaches retired or resigned so abruptly.

Mack Brown is another one of those coaches who excel in college, but will be a complete disaster at the pro level.

I don't know about this. A few years ago, everybody said that Mack Brown was a failure as a College Head Coach. IMO, Brown is very good at what Pro Coaches need to be good at. He's an excellent manager. He's never been considered a great Xs and Os guy but he is good at managing a Staff.

I agree with your assesment of Mack as far as how he could do in the Pros? No one knows for sure after all there are no William and Mary's in the Pros. Where have I heard that comment? :D

I don't think he has a strong enough personality to handle pro athletes.

Perhaps, but he can motivate players. I don't know if he would be good as a Pro or not, my biggest concern would be age. He's not young and I think that the NFL, as a rookie coach, requires a certain energy level.

This sounds like a bad April Fool's joke except it's not quite time for that. I doubt he will ever leave UT.

If true, Bud Adams has lost his freakin' mind..

I like Mack Brown too, but as a pro coach? No way in hell does he succeed.

Bob Stoops to Cleveland !!! I say so.

Cuz you know he's from OHIO. It just makes sense.
