OK, not really..... but he needs a few of these :clubbed::clubbed::clubbed:
Just got through rewatching the Texas drive to take the lead.
It was 1:53 left with the clock stopped. Texas is at the 4 w/ 2nd and goal and two time outs.
There's an injury timeout so McCoy's able to go to the sidelines. Stands right next to Brown for a good bit of time.
Ref whistles the game clock to start, play clock for Texas starts also, with 40 seconds.
Texas almost immediately breaks the huddle and ultimately snaps the ball with 21 seconds on the pc.
Whittaker scores. More than 89 seconds left on the clock.
Frustratingly poor judgment IMO. How they didn't coach him up and let McCoy snap that with less than 5-10 seconds on that clock, just leaves me shacking my head.
Even if Whittaker got stopped on the 2nd, a running game clock at 1:15 - 1:10, 3rd and goal with TO's in your pocket, is only a good thing I'd think?
Texas could of theoretically won or lost that game with little to no time on the clock, obviously it was "2 plays to make a first", AND surely would of forced TT to burn their final TO in that scenario.
Since Whittaker did score, they'd of left TT w/ maybe 70 seconds and made their game winning drive about 1/3 more difficult.
Not trying to take anything away from Tech, but mercy that was a sicking feeling knowing what a F-up that was. Love ya Mack, but..... dude!!!
