How the heck is this guy in the NFL let alone starting on our team?

From Marty B to Macky B now. I like your style.

In fairness to "Macky B," he has not had a lot of prep time. The guy is built like a tank but he has not had the time to work on his explosion and power since he was injured most of the offseason. Not only that, he has not had the opportunity to work with his line mates.

I think the guy has played poorly to date but I do see an upside. If he can regain his lower body strength and power he should be a solid contributor by November. If he's JAG, he will keep playing the way he is and will be cut at the end of the season.

You do realize you're talking about the same guy who couldn't even start on the Carolina Panthers?

I'd never thought i would ever miss Montrae Holland but MAcky B made that possible. Macky B FAIL when your best just isn't good enough.

Yes, it has indeed occured to me. Considering how bad they are doing, it is telling that there has been no rueage on the local airwaves about letting him go.

Hopefully he visited Miracle Max during the bye week.

The Panthers prefer agile interior linemen; he was expendable.

Anyway, lots of guards go on to play well on other teams after they are deemed expendable by another. Nate Newton and Ron Stone immediately come to mind. And lets not forgot the memorable Brian Waters.

He did stop Orakpo that game, granted he held and it cost us the game but still, he stopped him.

:laugh2:

Every D-lineman that goes up against Macky B sends him a limo to the game, can't afford any accidents.
