I've heard good things about EA access in general. Seems like a chunk of change but you get all of the DLC, and 10 percent off EA games.

This only applies to you if you buy EA games over the course of the year, and not just one madden game. I'll buy it.

As much as I despise EA, the access program seems to be pretty solid.

Shame the demo requires it though

Was hoping for a demo seeing as the game looks way different than last years in playcalling. I havent bought a madden in a few years but I want to this year. Just so I can go online and lose 90% of my games and get pissed! Lol

I always play as Dallas of course no matter how bad we suck. I just have to make a LOT of subs.

You have to play flawless and have luck to win higher ranked games haha.

Haha yeah. Seahawks and SF are tough offensively for me just because it seems every one of their players has magnets for hands, or the speed of a gazelle.

That explains why there's no demo coming out. Thought it usually came out month or so before the new one dropped. Oh well I'll keep playing Madden 25 until the end of August!

I bought the game last year after skipping the year prior, and it was terrible. I play franchise almost exclusively, and it was one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had to endure because the actual on-the-field game is only part of the experience for me.

Well when there is only one game that we can play online competitively , there is not much of an option.

I'd rather play an average game and get to play football then nothing at all.

I miss the 2K series though, I will add that.

If you had asked me a year ago, when I was actually trying to play it, I could tell you. Now? I've moved on.

I remember the fact that I couldn't see any of the info of the guys I spent all that time MANUALLY scouting, was idiotic. You couldn't sim ahead in a season. You couldn't change a players position, etc. It was just really cumbersome to navigate and do things outside of the actual gameplay stuff, which is a lot of what Franchise is about.

It honestly looks the EXACT same as 25 but with CBS presentation style. Very disappointed in it. I'm not interested in playing as a DE and timing the snap or new practice modes. Just give me the most realistic football experience and franchise mode possible. I'll hold off until it's $20 in November.

It's not well integrated, and no you can't sim a season or (for example) sim to week 6. I had to sim one week at a time.

Manual scouting is fine and dandy, but it shoudn't be mandatory. If there was a way to change a guys position, I sure didn't see it.

I guess you're right with the sim, though I play every game and supersim the second halfusually...

You can in edit players...you just can't do stuff like move a guy to a different position group

For example...I used to always play Anthony Spencer at OLB, and then swtich him to DE, where he was like a 99, and then just trade him lol. The positional thing is designed to stop that from happening, you can always just manually change where guys play in the substitution screen.
