Anyone have an idea when they will update these rosters so I can BLITZ the heck outta McScabb. I cant wait to see my 3-4 [ferg,canty,spears on the line with dat,ware,burnett,thorton as lbs with roy running up as the strong safety with beriault at FS.] 4-3 ellis,glove,ferg,canty on line followed by lbs -ware,dat,burnett and roy and bury at safety. I cant wait to switch up my schemes and line and lb combonations.This year was a tuff year using dallas on madden I just hope when the dowload comes[and 2006] they rank 4 [canty,ware,burnett,spears] of our picks at around 80. I definatley think ware will atleast be an 83. play me online with my new name DWARE94

They won't do another update bro, they will just come out with Madden 2006 in August.

Your best bet is to find an update on the many madden football websites. Look for the rosters created by a guy named struttdaddy. I think I read where he was going to do an update after the draft. I can think of two sites off the top of my head.... www.maddenplanet.com and www.football-freaks.com

im not a big madden fan just cause i dont like the gameplay, but i've played with most of our draftees on the college game.
i looked up all the guys we drafted rankings on ncaa football 2005 here it is.. but julius was only ranked like an 80 last year on this game and look how he turned out.

marcus spears - 99 (highest possible on the game)
chris canty - 94
kevin burnett - 93
marion barber - 93
rob pettiti - 93
demarcus ware - 91
justin beriault - 86 (listed as SS here, hmm)
jay ratliff - 78

Well since there will no longer be an ESPN game Madden is better

Madden is and always will be the best. The most intuitive controls.

However - the offensive line AI was atrocious (and always has been). Pass protection consists of a bit more than running backwards.

That's what Ive been saying! Don't get me wrong Madden is a good game,but 2K was better IMO.

I love the competition they had going and 2K was getting better and better every year. The new Madden looks awesome so far,that was the only thing I didn't like about Madden,the player models.

I was trying to put all the rookies on their respective teams last night....man that takes a long time.

When 2006 comes out, I will buy 2005 for $5, then download Struttdaddy's latest updates (which contain FA's and rookies), and be content until 2007 comes out. I always stay a year behind... unless there are earthshattering new features, I don't see a reason to pay $50.

*note: I don't play online, however. May be worth it if you do. I just like playing dynasty mode for several seasons.

Yup franchise mode = awesome.

I took the cowboys to 16 SB Wins and 28 straight winning seasons with 24 playoff seasons. Talk about americas team. And I did all that without playing the game itself.
