big fat Alge Crumpler fell on his knee. it looked like it could be bad or just a sprain. he walked off the field right before the half but they said he's not gonna play anymore tonight.

seems like it doesnt it. Every year that John Madden has put a player on his game, that player has gotten hurt.

Yuck, lynn swan is on national tv. I cant stand him.

not always but more often than not.

I was curious to read up on the history of the curse, so I went to Wikipedia, and the paragraph on the curse currently contains the following:

"For the 2010 edition of Madden, two players, Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald, were featured on the cover for the first time in the history of the Madden franchise. On September 10, 2009, Polamalu left the Steelers opening game with a knee injury and did not return. As of 10:36pm ET, the severity of the injury is unknown. This is bull****."

Note the Wiki version was uncensored (it didn't have the asterisks that I put in). Another reason why I love Wiki :D

EDIT: Awwwww..... The part containing the expletive has now been deleted. :(

Polamalu had a heckuva first half.

he was all over the field making plays. He made a handful of excellent tackles and nabbed a one handed INT. He got called for a bogus late hit penalty. Then he got hit with a totally bogus PI penalty. The face mask penalty was totally legit. Finally, he was in the thick of another play when Crumpler fell on his leg....it didn't look good at all.

All that just in the first half......

He made a couple good tackles, and the pick was nice. But he got beat a bunch it looked like. The late hit was not bogus it was obvious he was out of bounds and the P.I. is eh...

On that pick he was beat deep but the ball was badly underthrown. Nice catch, but could have been a td. I didn't think he looked all that impressive.

That WAS a late hit out of bounds. It wasn't bogus. He was a full step out of bounds when TP hit him.

are you guessing or did you hear that?

ESPN is running what the guy said, MCL 3-6 weeks. Tomorrow he'll probably be practicing and running full speed if Mark Clayton or Ed Werder were reporting the injury.

:laugh2: Totally forgot about the curse and the fact he was on the cover with Fitzgerald. Watch out Larry.

After hearing the news, Fitzgerald called the commish to see if he could wear this suit.....
