Troy Polumha (sp) has an MCL sprain and will be out 3-6 weeks. They will do an MRI today to see if there is further damage. Don't think he tore his ACL but if so he will miss the year.

3-6 weeks...ouch. If he misses the full 6 weeks, depending on when their bye week is, that could be tough on their defense. He's their playmaker back there.

definatly last night their D looked completely different without him, they let collins move on them pretty well.

I know, and he only like 30 yards of penalties against him, and negated another 10 with a P.I. penalty...

I never really thought of Polamalu as a dirty player until what I saw out of him last night. Late hits, facemasks, pass interference and other dirty plays I expected more from the front 7 guys who are all known for it.

I swore I knew they played dirty to get themselves to Super Bowl XL against the Seahawks. They rode that for a SB ring IMO. And if it wasn't for some calls that should have been called last night, (the Hoke removal of his helmet, numerous facemasking and holds by the Steeler players) the Titans would have probably beat them by at least a touchdown. It is sad to see a dirty team win the way that they do.

A couple of those penalities were not good calls, IMO.

He shared the cover with Fitz, so makes sense that it's a 3-6week injury and not a season ender.... if you believe this curse stuff

Between Polamalu being out at least 4 weeks and the O line letting the Tenn D Line even without Haynesworth work over Hamburger, they have got problems. Its just a matter of time before Hamburger is out for at least a few games.
