Madden League, anyone?

For straight, no cheese players. I was a member of another one, but they're moving to PS3 when 08 comes out - and half the league doesn't have or want nextgen - so half the league is splitting off.

If you're interested in a Madden league on PS2, let me know. I'll give you links when we get them. It's really a blast, you play one game a week.

I'm in the same boat. I'd do it on the 360. PS2 Super? I had you pegged for a PC gaming console.

Madden's lost some of its luster for me because you can't update rosters on the career mode (or whatever its called), and I don't have the time to play enough to compete at a high level online. I spent two days creating what I thought was a pretty damn accurate roster last year...I'm not doing that again.

Don't know of any 360 leagues, fellas. I've never liked the XBox, and haven't been impressed enough with the PS3 to actually go get it (to play....madden on) so yeah it's PS2, still.

I was thinking of just starting PC gaming. It's easier, online already, and if you need an upgrade, it benefits you in many ways.

There's a guy on the PS2 servers who has generated new rosters, and will share them with you if you ask - all changes reflected and I think the draft picks.

I never did until I bought one. My 360 is a mainstay in my life, I stay in touch with friends out of state, made new friends, I stream content from my computer, download movies, demos, kick the crap out of people in shooter games and the list could go on longer.

... how am i a "fanboI"? I told him he shoudl wait for the games to come. And said nothing about the 360. I had an xbox last generation. That right there proves im not a fanboy.But since you already consider me one i mide as well rant. I buy systems off of what they did last gen, what kind of games i want and who i think will do better.Last gen i was sick of looking at ps2's wall of games and than at xbox's lack of games it p'd me off. ANd as of right now im very happy i have a ps3. all of my friends have 360's they rip me all the time, until they come over and we play Resistance all night.Or the Demo of Warhawk, or they say God of war 3 vids, MGS vids, Lair vids, Drakes misfortune vids, Heavenly sword etc the list goes on. Plus i am big on RPG's and sony always delivers with them.Than we go to there house and play.. guitar hero. 360 has been out over a year, they have had no games to date that interest me (except two worlds, that game looks awsome) My neighbor hasnt turned his 360 on in over 4 MONTHS. He plays his ps2. He is waiting for halo 3 which shoudl be awsome as long as microsoft didnt push bungie like they did in halo 2. Oh and dont say gears of war, that game is beatable in 4-8 hours. Plus the online is boreing. Either way you cant change my mind, and i wont change yours. But i would love to bring this argument up in a year or so time. oh and the blu ray player is awsome.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.

I played in the league a couple of times a couple of years ago. Not anymore but it still looks fun. The competition is really good.

Yes, I saw a rom somewhere with last years roster but I don't remember where. If I find it again I'll PM you with it, since I'm sure posting it here might be borderline illegal if not completely.

On the message boards here http://www.knobbe.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=5 somebody is working on a roster hack for this coming season.

And here's something else I found that I thought was pretty cool http://www.nesreproductions.com/ they'll update the roster using a rom hack then put it back into the game cartridge where you can play it on your NES, pretty neat.
