I think the stats are fair considering they update them throughout the year. Obviously there are some stats I feel could be higher, but looking at it unbiasedly I feel they are about right considering the year some of the guys had last year.

Bryant starting out as an 80 is sick, can't wait to pwn ppl.

After a few weeks I imagine Austin will be 90+ and Felix will be pushing 90.

Poorly rated as per the usual.

Romo a 90 is a joke. Especially when you see who they rate higher. This guy has had 4 straight 90+ QB rating seasons from the get go... that just doesn't happen.

Witten and Ware should easily be 99s. They are the epitome of their positions. Im sure Witten still can't block.

Miles Austin will also be a lot lower than other receivers he exceeded last year.

80 for a first round draft pick isn't much. 70 for Sean Lee is actually a slap in his face.

How exactly is an 80 a slight?

And if you think Lee is a slap in the face for a second round backup, then I suppose Jaguar fans have something really worth griping about.

People...it's a video game. On top of that, the ratings were changed a year ago so that 90 is "elite". They made it so that "99" was only reserved for the elite of the elite. If there are actually any 99 rated players I bet you can count them on one hand.

lol, witten and Ware are 97.

First round picks who haven't done squat in the league. By that thinking, Bobby Carpenter should've been rated higher.

Witten isn't a 97. He can't block Jared Allen. That means he is at most a 96. :laugh2: :p:

Ware is the "elite of the elite". He should be 99.

They rest I guess is fair. McNabb at 89 and then Romo at 90 is a joke. Romo should be at like 92 if McNabb is 89, or McNabb at 86 if Romo is 90.

Kyle Kosier and Doug Free are 80? And then Colombo is 78? What I don't like about Madden is that they seem to take high profile games and use that for ratings. Colombo's one bad game was the Minnesota game and that probably put him at 78. Kosier is better than Free right now, and should be rated that way.

Fire up your copy of Madden from last year, Columbo was around 78 then too. Then go through all the other teams in the league and check out thier RTs, there is like 3 or 4 that are rated above 80, and none above 85. The team at EA Tiburon seems to have some weird hatred with RTs, at least they are consistent about it though.

Ware should be 99, why the hell did he go down from last year? Same with Witten and Romo only being 90 is disgusting, Austin only at 88 is dispicable he LED THE NFC IN RECEIVING and tied in TD's.

Desean jackson is like 91.

Spencer @ 84, WHYYYY. Wasn't he 87 at the last madden 2010 update?

Ratliff was an ALLPRO yet he is 94, why?

T-new at 87 but Jenknis at 85, wth?

our starting FS is 69 overall....

Our madden team has gotten worse.

Truthfully the ratings don't make ahuge difference. The difference in an 85 and a 90 in madden isn't much. Madden always has speed issues where your 95 speed runningback gets run down by an 84 speed defensive end lol

Ah, if that's the case, then I stand corrected about Colombo.

I don't plan on buying it this year, though. I am very disappointing in Madden, and not completely because of the ratings. Last year's game was done halfheartedly, it seemed. It's been the case since they got exclusive rights from the NFL. They don't have competition.

NCAA this year looks lightyears better than Madden. Even the graphics are significantly better. That's been the case for years now.
