But they are not paying them that much. So they will be ok.That's a good piece of roster manipulation there. Will enable them to keep more back than normal and will let them part ways with any of the older guys if they don't perform. Only drawback is as you know any vet on the opening day active roster is guaranteed his salary for the season. At least I think that's still the rule.
Frankly I liked what I saw out of Davis more than what Deuce did. But Davis has always been a pretty good downhill runner. Dude just can't stay healthy.. or apparently can't keep his mouth shut if the rumors are true.I figured this. Probably means Deuce is safe.
Absolutely pathetic tandem. Suck and Sucker.Gives a short runway to Sanders and Williams

If we are being honest….Malik Davis was our most impressive back In preseason….Frankly I liked what I saw out of Davis more than what Deuce did. But Davis has always been a pretty good downhill runner. Dude just can't stay healthy.. or apparently can't keep his mouth shut if the rumors are true.
Not good with the English language I see.Absolutely pathetic tandem. Suck and Sucker.
Not the best evaluator of talent either. Not good with the English language I see.
We don't have time to fill you in with everything you don't get.I don’t get this.
How's the waves, bro?Not good with the English language I see.
Other teams may make trades ten days before the start of the season. The Cowboys do not.I don’t get this. With a bad running back room why this? Unless they are trading for someone?
One thing I will say for Vaughan is his willingness to run it between the tackles AND to step into the path of an oncoming blitzer is admirable. There have been much bigger guys unwilling to do that dirty work. Kudos to him for that. I still think a creative coaching staff carves out a Darren Sproles role for him.. but I don't think that coaching staff is in Dallas.I still think Vaughn and Sanders should be released maybe Vaughn on the PS.
They have Turpin and Blue for a "Sproles" role. I doubt they effectively use them though. One thing I will say for Vaughan is his willingness to run it between the tackles AND to step into the path of an oncoming blitzer is admirable.
