Frankly I liked what I saw out of Davis more than what Deuce did. But Davis has always been a pretty good downhill runner. Dude just can't stay healthy.. or apparently can't keep his mouth shut if the rumors are true.

Other teams may make trades ten days before the start of the season. The Cowboys do not.

I still think Vaughn and Sanders should be released maybe Vaughn on the PS.

One thing I will say for Vaughan is his willingness to run it between the tackles AND to step into the path of an oncoming blitzer is admirable. There have been much bigger guys unwilling to do that dirty work. Kudos to him for that. I still think a creative coaching staff carves out a Darren Sproles role for him.. but I don't think that coaching staff is in Dallas.

They have Turpin and Blue for a "Sproles" role. I doubt they effectively use them though.
