Mafah to IR

That's a good piece of roster manipulation there. Will enable them to keep more back than normal and will let them part ways with any of the older guys if they don't perform. Only drawback is as you know any vet on the opening day active roster is guaranteed his salary for the season. At least I think that's still the rule.

But they are not paying them that much. So they will be ok.

I still think Vaughn and Sanders should be released maybe Vaughn on the PS.
One thing I will say for Vaughan is his willingness to run it between the tackles AND to step into the path of an oncoming blitzer is admirable. There have been much bigger guys unwilling to do that dirty work. Kudos to him for that. I still think a creative coaching staff carves out a Darren Sproles role for him.. but I don't think that coaching staff is in Dallas.

They have Turpin and Blue for a "Sproles" role. I doubt they effectively use them though.
