With our win tonight and Detroit's loss earlier today, we are locked in to either the #1 or #5 seed in the NFC, and only our games and the Giants games matter.

One Cowboys win or one Giants loss (or tie) gives us home field advantage.

While I would have liked to have beaten the Giants last week, I really like that the last 3 games weren't meaningless. I think going into the playoffs dry like that was a recipe for disaster. I think a meaningless week 17 game against Philly will be fine, but I start all of the starters and have them practice like they are playing the full game.

I hate the dang sheagles more than anything in this world, but this Thursday night will be one of the rare times I actually root for them, its gonna be the most keyed up non-Cowboys game for me so far this year by far........I know we could win it ourselves by beatin Detroit or Philthy themselves the week after, but I just want this thing clinched already! especially since the #1 seed comes with it now also.......
