You can't teach or develop much of what he has. It's as natural as sunshine & a cool breeze but as rare as a unicorn yeti.

On the X's & O's side though, god it is refreshing to watch teams who create great plays & disguise them. KC was like a bees nest of activity. Denver had no idea what was coming next or who was going to be the first option.

He moved up in the pocket like a good qb should, then had to use his feet to extend the play like a mobile qb should. Some in the league would've taken a sack on the initial drop back. So far he looks promising.

I think I'm taking Mahomes over any other QB in the league right now. I know it's only 5 games but this kid is just loaded with talent,moxie and he makes things happen. What an arm and the kid has wheels too. That's why I don't understand many on this board being happy with a buss driver.

The Chiefs with all their offensive weapons and Reid as his coach was the best thing for Mahomes. He's in a perfect spot. Reid knows how the get everything he can from his QBs and designs systems to fit their strengths perfectly. So the complete opposite of what goes on in Dallas.
