Question is which side of the ball has more talent, for now.

Both writers playing good cop bad cop.
Each one making their points for which side. Actually some good points for the offense.

However I will go with the defense. As more questions on offense as to health of the OL, and which players step up as to WR depth, TE, and RB.

Dak
Tp
Cd
Cooks
Martin
Tyron
Tyler

Parsons
Dlaw
Diggs
Gilmore
Wilson
Kearse

There's plenty of room for argument with LVE, Bland, Steele etc.

I think we are fairly balanced talent wise. I probably forgot about a couple as well.

I think that Parsons takes this defense over the top. There is no one (maybe Martin) that is as good as Parsons on the offense. Micah is as generational as it gets.

Time will tell but I think this team looks as balanced as they have in a long time.

Depending on what they do at RB, they also could be very balanced from the pass/run perspective.

McC's GB team had gotten out of balance, D to O, and when he left they signed Preston and Za'Darius Smith and achieved balance. I think he preferred a balanced offense but with those two QB's, anytime they could audible out to the pass, they did.

I'm going to go with the offense overall although Parsons makes it a tough debate.

Offense has:
Dak: top 10-15 qb imo

WR corps: Lamb, Cooks is legit, Gallup if he returns to normal or close to it is a solid #2 for any team. Pretty nasty receiving corps

Pollard: one of the best RB in football last two years + whatever they do drafting moving forward

OL: Martin, Tyron(when healthy), Tyler. Always rank out as a top 10 unit overall

So above average QB, good / great receiving corps, one of the top RBs and an OL who constantly grades out as top 10

Defense:
Parsons: Absolute game changer. Generational talent

Dlaw: elite run defender

Diggs & Gilmore going to be great together.

defense = more talent
Offense = more "perceived" talent

Defense imo, but easily could be offense depending on how this draft goes

Defense easily. Very good CB's going down to Bland. Good safety group. Good edge guys and you have a DPOY type in Parsons. Only real weak group is the DT's.

Offense has an above average WR1, RB1, Martin and . . . .

I wouldn't be surprised if the draft was offense in the first 3 rounds which if the guys work out, might balance it out.

I’d say defense. Based on what I saw last season. If Gallup and Pollard can return to form…Dak as well? I might change that opinion.

That’s tough for me to answer at this point. The projected offensive line mentioned by the Jones boys has me concerned, while the Cowboys defensive line and run defense doesn’t inspire confidence.

I do like both trade additions to help on both sides.

I think I’ll have to see what’s added in the draft before I commit.

This is the most well rounded team we have had since 2007 IMO. 2014 and 2016 defenses were heavily supported by an absolutely dominant rushing attack with the Great Wall of Dallas 2.0 + Murray and Zeke.

Defense.

Offensive skilled players and line are nice but they are all tied to the QB.

Offense by a hair

I think the defense is much better coached and makes average players look much better than they really are.
