So, you were of them that didn't believe that these guys were an upgrade. You gave me crap when I said that the team improved at linebacker and the oline.
I pointed out to the jethro minions that nothing had been proven as yet so claiming there was improvement was stupid
NOW of course Overshown has shown he really is what we hoped for; and Kendricks to me was the player of the game
BUT concerns about whether he can last the season at this kind of level of performance is legitimate

It is always nice to have so many different answers to who had the most impactful game.

As an avid draftnik, it is really nice to see so many rookies being listed after game 1.

Beebe
Guyton
Kneeland
Carson
Liafou

All had a really good game.

And I’ll throw Overshown in there with the rookies since he never took a snap last year.

All that is very good for the growth/youth of the franchise.

Two sacks, int, and multiple tfl? Hard to beat. Did parsons have more pressures?
Micah had more QB hits but in every other stat Kendricks was tied in three and ahead in the others

Saying we are improved at linebacker and oline isn't being stupid. It was pretty obvious that we are.
You were making that claim before the first game; now that is the epitome of not smart

DLaw has said that is far along being a rookie. Heard Greg Ellis say he is a real hard worker, everything is pointing in the right direction and his success could lessen the need to use a top pick at the position next season.
Whats Greg Ellis doing with the team? Is he coaching or just doing som vet drop by stuff

Brandon Aubrey:
When you’re already in field goal range if the opponents kickoff goes out of bounds, you might me impactful.
When the coach has to think about going for a 71 yard FG, you might be impactful.

I will argue that. You look at the stats and he was better.
Get real about football. Parsons kept their quarterback guessing and dreaming about former women. (coughing loudly)

Not everyone else is unable to short termed see what leadership looks for. Ever even played college football? You haven't even been around long enough with comments to have a clue here.
