Mickey: Not sure there is a simple answer to that. Some might have to do with the route designs. Some might have to do with the lack of experience out there now. Remember injuries matter. No Brandin Cooks matters. Without him every guy must take one step up the ladder. Jalen Tolbert has never been a No. 2 receiver, barely a No. 3 to start the season. Tell me who is No. 3? Is it Jalen Brooks, in his second season as a seventh-round draft choice. Is it KaVontae Turpin, an undrafted basically return guy in his third season the Cowboys are converting into more of an all-purpose receiver. Or maybe Ryan Flournoy, a sixth-round pick who had played all of 10 NFL snaps before the Detroit game. These things don't happen overnight.

Tommy: I don't think talent is the issue for the receivers, CeeDee Lamb got the contract he did for a reason, and Jalen Tolbert has shown he can step up when he's needed to as well. There's some truth to what Troy Aikman said in the sense that the routes the Cowboys have been running haven't been great, but at the same time with Dallas' lack of a run game more defense are dropping back an extra defender or two to take away the passing lanes. When you mix all of that together, I think that's what gets you to the current result and issue: A lack of separation.

That offense has been really basic again. Not fooling the defense at all.

We need better coaching, and an OC with some innovative designs.
However, Jerry will not change and get rid of the out dated Garret type system.

Even with Cooks, he just never jived in this offense. Going back to last year, he had invisible stretches.

Is Cooks better than Flournoy? Sure, but it's not like we lost Rashid Shaheed out there.

The front office had to known after CDL there was a good drop off. Maybe they thought the young guys would step up, or chemistry found between Dak and Cooks. So far, that has not panned out.
Tolbert did step up against the Steelers, but so far that was 1 game out of 6.
Can the depth guys run multiple routes? Or are their trees still limited?

The lack of the run game definitely hurts as well. A worn down Zeke and Rico ain't scaring no defense, unless they were facing a FCS team.

Maybe the most crucial reason Jones decided to not sign Henry was the financial aspect of the deal, especially considering the plans the Cowboys had for Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb's contracts.

Current players running the ball can't just depend upon CD now for any success. More effective running has to materialize.

Prescott, currently, can't currently run two consecutive red zone drives and score.

He doesn't throw for three consecutive completions. Success for three consecutive plays aren't being there for games.

This appears to be a coaching issue that needs to be addressed immediately!

...this is again on MM. The game has past him by or just doesn't have mental tools anymore to keep innovative.

Its also been said, when certain people are under major duress, creativity suffers. They are similar to white noise.

Being the face of Dallas Cowboys is major challenging.

The unwillingness around this franchise to hold players accountable is unbelievable. Aikman is an unquestionable god of football and he has already told you what is going on. CD signed the biggest WR contract in history and it is starting to look like he is a highly paid slot receiver. Little bro said he and Dak are like Montana and Rice. He needs to man up, go outside and get himself open.

Here and now, Jerry is selling his 'movie stars.'

I want female abortion also and put value on life after pregnancy is a factor of choice.
