The offense is good enough with Romo but I'd like to get into the 31+ PPG range. A WR can do this I think if you're talking about a vet FA.

The defense needs a much better pass rush than last year. The way to do that is to add another 3 as in Hardy or hope Irving, McClain and ?? help there. And you must have another DE. In fact I'd resign Hardy and add a edge rusher via FA as well as draft another edge rusher. We don't need another traditional DE.

We need better pass defense. We should add a vet FA S and draft someone high who can either play S and/or CB. I'd prefer a high draft pick on a S like Ramsey. Another CB should be acquired.

We need an athletic LB who can stay on the field. I was disappointed we let Watson go.

This obsession with the running game is not warranted. We need improvement. I'd love to see TMcClain actually play to see what we have. We have enough players in the interior of the DL we can play. I'd not spend big resources on a 1 but I'd spend them on a 3/1.

I don't claim to be an expert, but this is where I see things we need:

Back up QB/Developing replacement for Romo:
I'd love to see us get Fitz or Hasselback at 2, and develop a 2nd or 3rd round choice. I don't think this QB class is worth a #4 pick. I also see Fitz and Hasselback re-signing with their teams. :/

Safety: Let free agency get us something here. Can Jones fill the FS spot? Looks like he can. Go Berry.

CB: Can Carr. Skandrick is decent, Mo shows improvement but can't stay healthy. Rather keep Jones at FS. This is the problem position we seem to have been trying to fix for forever.

LB: How much better would Jack be than McClain?

RB: McFadden proved capable, but still isn't trustworthy because of his history. I wasn't impressed with Turbin. Keep McFadden and add in draft. Wish Dunbar could stay healthy because the kid actually has talent. His health makes me doubt he comes back.

WR: Williams has been decent support for Dez, but nothing spectacular. We need a burner at that flanker spot. People will hate me for this, but might Benjamin be worth a shot in camp?

TE: I put this spot last because we always waste picks here, but I doubt Escobar returns soon.
