Interesting take. Was watching NFLN yesterday and Daniel Jeremiah was on. I consider him one of the smarter talking heads. He said the Cowboys have 7 sacks in the last 6 games. Said flat out if the Cowboys or any team for that matter can't do better than that getting pressure on Brady in the playoffs, they will lose.

I think that is too simple of an analysis. The Cowboys need maintain a pass rush win rate above 50%. If they can make Brady feel uncomfortable in the pocket, that is a win even though the pressure may not result in a sack.

What I dont want to see is Micah running into Wirfs all game. Move him around and pick your spots to blitz him. Keep him fresh.

That's the big issue. Edge pressure isn't particularly effective against Brady. He gets it out pretty quick. The key is to collapse the middle.

Before someone says something about "that's true for all QB's", well only to an extent. Mobile QB's can get out of there quick and can use the open field to their advantage. Those are the guys you have to contain from the edges.

Brady gets so deep in the pocket that it’s hard to get to him. When you do he just side steps or moves up. He’s the best pocket QB in the history of the NFL. He doesn’t miss when he throws down the sidelines very often as well.
